Quick Answer: If your credit cards have suddenly stopped processing but everything else is functioning normally (Gift Cards and Loyalty Cards processing normally) then chances are your Credit Card Processor is down.  If your Gift/Loyalty Cards are down, the problem may be that you have lost your internet connection.

So – If gift/loyalty cards are working but credit cards are not, please contact your credit card processor.

Quick Answer:  If you are using DOS terminals, make sure that Retriever Communications is turned on.   If everything is green but your terminals are in standalone, reboot your terminals.  If you are still having connection issues you may need to contact your network administrator or call the help desk for additional assistance.

If you have WinTerms, click the ping all button and then the refresh Terminal List button and see if the connections turn green.  If that doesn’t show a connection, go to the terminals and sync the terminals. If they sync, run a transaction and then check the transaction log in Process. If everything looks normal, you’re good to go. If you don’t see a transaction, call Retriever.
